Yes, pallets like this tend to look alike. It’s what’s inside that counts. This one contains broadcast equipment from Matchsports, the company that provided live coverage of the June 25 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Matchsports arranged the shipping to Australia; Pak Mail ensured that everything was packed securely for safe transit. We did not use wood on this one, so there are no concerns with shipping it internationally.

How to turn off the Sunday-delivery option
Amazon (per contract with USPS) has instructed the Post Office (USPS) to leave Amazon packages outside the front door on Sundays.
If you do not want your packages left unsecured outside your front door on Sundays, do the following:
- Log in to your Amazon account.
- Click on Account & Lists.
- Click on Addresses (sign in if needed).
- For each address, click Edit at the bottom of the box.
- Scroll down to Weekend Delivery and click.
- Uncheck Sunday.
- Save changes.
Hope this helps!

Pak Mail is a member of the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce
The June 20th meeting of the Manitou Springs Business Networking Group was hosted by Commonwheel Artists Co-op on Canon Ave. What a fun place to hold a morning meeting! The gallery represents talented artists creating jewelry, wearables, wall art, pottery and mixed media – something for everyone’s budget.
The Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce presented its new branding and logo – Escape & Enjoy. All in attendance received a goodie bag from the chamber. Check out this great little town!

Building a picture crate
Last week’s shipping challenges included artwork that required a wooden crate. We often build them for bronze artwork; sometimes for medical equipment. This crate was for a large, framed historic piece of art from a local gallery.

Furniture shipping
This is the only photo of this project; it was packed and out the back door – one, two three. The table and six chairs were purchased at Consign and Design, a fantastic shop on Garden of the Gods Rd, down the road from Pak Mail. The chairs were packed in pairs and shipped on a pallet with the table. All pieces were protected with felt blankets and styro-lined custom boxes.

Busy season for packing and shipping
Being inundated with packing and shipping projects – believe it or not – is a fun challenge. Last week the guys picked up gallery items and household goods, quoted walk-in freight shipments, packed everything securely, and shipped with our contracted carriers. This was in addition to small package shipping – artwork from the Commonwheel Artists Co-op in Manitou Springs, birthday gifts, and overnight documents. All deadlines were met!
